Care of The Rockingham, Rockingham Ankle and Knee High Rockingham suede products will predominantly depend on intended use and requirements.
Generally, our Suede products should be sprayed at least once a month, or more regularly depending on use, with the Suede and Nubuck Proofer in order to help protect the suede from dirt and water. Spray the proofer onto the suede from a minimum of a foot away, and leave to prove over the course of 3-4 hours before use.
Alternatively (for something more substantial) you can use Liquiproof Premium Protector to encourage water to bead off the suede. Spray the Protector onto the product, working piece by piece, and rub into the suede with a soft brush to ensure an even coating (think of polishing a car!)
If the suede does become wet or dirty - leave the product to dry naturally (away from artificial heat sources), brush the product with a soft brush, and then reapply some Suede and Nubuck Proofer.
Rain and sources of water may leave an inprint on the suede, but this can be removed by allowing the product to dry naturally, and brushing away the marks with a soft brush.
Finally its best to store your boots with boot trees to help maintain their original shape, and ensuring that the ankle doesn’t ‘bunch’ by regularly folding over.

If the suede becomes dirty, then the Liquiproof Footwear Complete Care Travel Kit contains the Eco-cleaner to remove the most common day-to-day marks. Use the cleaner heavily diluted in warm water like a soap, work it into the suede with a soft brush, wipe over with clean water, and leave to dry naturally before reapplying the Proofer or Protector.
